Fish Investigations
A 500V DC Generator was used to sample 115 feet of the inlet stream just upstream of where it crosses TH 46. A Coffelt electro-fishing boat was used to sample fish at night on June 14. On October 5, 6 and 14, a total of seven experimental gillnets were set overnight. One "fine mesh" net was also set on October 14, 15.
The experimental gillnets were 125' x 6' with five 25' panels of 3/4" to 1 3/4" square mesh in 1/4" increments. The one "fine mesh" net was 125' x 6' x 1/2". All fish sampled were measured, weighed and scale samples were taken from game fish for age/size analysis.
